Orlando Police Capture Cop Killer Markeith Loyd

After nine days Orlando police have captured the alleged cop killer Markeith Loyd, who was also wanted for killing a pregnant woman.

“We’ve got him!,” read the Orlando Police Department’s Twitter page on Tuesday. Loyd was wanted for the killing of Orlando Master Sgt. Debra Clayton on Dec. 9th.

Clayton was on duty by herself near a Walmart at around 7 a.m. when a citizen approached her saying a murder suspect was nearby. She found the suspect and pursued him, said police. That’s when Loyd opened fire on Clayton.
