A thousand new jobs are coming to Polk County in coming months.
First, DS Services, a beverage distributor, announced plans to open a facility at County Line Road and I-4 in Lakeland.
That will bring with it 400 jobs.
Now, Walmart says it will open an online distribution center at U.S. 27 and Interstate 4 in Davenport.
That property will employee 625 people.
