Obama To Announce $4 Trillion Budget Monday

President Barack Obama on Monday will officially unveil his $4 trillion budget proposal for fiscal 2016, and of course the details of which are a “watch what I do” indicator of the direction of the White House hopes to take the country. Various aspects of the proposal are drawing attention, from taxing corporate earnings to pay for infrastructure projects, to eliminating spending caps on domestic and military programs.

The president has proposals he says will help the middle class, and he also has budget issues to deal with regarding Republicans withholding DHS funding in hopes of derailing executive actions on immigration.

It all comes out Monday, followed by dozens of hearings and committee meetings, where everything is sliced and diced, and the sausage is prepared for delivery.
