SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — President Barack Obama is making a personal plea to Californians, Latinos and young people to sign up for coverage under the new health care law.

White House officials say Obama on Friday will use a stop in California to highlight the state’s implementation of the Affordable Care Act. He’ll also discuss California’s collaboration with non-government groups to promote, primarily to Hispanics, the health care exchanges that are being created to help millions of uninsured consumers afford coverage.
