Obama Not Popular In FL: Quinnipiac Poll

A new Quinnipiac poll shows President Obama and his policies are largely unpopular among Florida voters.

The survey says Obama has a 41 percent approval rating.

It also says Sunshine State voters disapprove of the president’s Iran nuclear deal 61 to 15 percent.

They do, however, support sending U.S. ground troops to Iraq and Syria to fight ISIS.

Florida voters are split on what to do with illegal immigrants. 53 percent support a path to citizenship while 43 percent do not or think illegals should be deported.

Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania are considered swing states.

No candidate who has gone on to win the White House has fewer than two of those states in the general election.
