Northeast Prepares For Two Feet Of Snow, Blizzard

A winter that has largely spared the Northeast thus far is about to arrive with gusto. Coastal regions from New York to Boston are bracing for a whopper of a snowstorm that could bring up to two feet of snow. National Weather Service meteorologists say the storm will start edging into the region overnight then turn up the coast.

In New York City, the massive storm is expected to leave up to a foot of snow by Tuesday, followed by 8 inches or so more before Wednesday. A deluge of airline flight cancellations is expected Monday.

In the National Weather Service’s tweet below you can see foretasted snowfall for the different areas in the northeast.
