An ex-Hillsborough County Commissioner forced out of a 2010 state senate race amid scandal wants back into local politics.
Jim Norman is running for the District 6 Hillsborough County commission at large seat as a Republican.
The 61 year old got out of the state senate general election 5 years ago after allegations he failed to report property in another state on disclosure forms.
Norman is said to already have $100 thousand in his campaign war chest.
