Nearly 100 suspects were arrested on prostitution charges over a 4-day period as part of an undercover sting by Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
PCSO will hold a news conference on Monday to discuss the undercover sting operation, which targeted online prostitution ads.
The 92 suspects were charged with offering to commit lewdness, among other charges, after responding to ads posted by undercover detectives posing as prostitutes. Some of the arrestees were prostitutes themselves who posted the ads and came to the undercover location offering their services, deputies said.
