The Mail Tribune reports that 44-year-old Bourne Huddleston had been scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Medford on the new indictment, but his lawyer asked for more time.
Meanwhile, his sister, Genetta Huddleston-Coradetti, was held in Stuart, Fla., pending extradition to Oregon.
The indictment alleges the two agreed to hire someone to kill a man who Huddleston had tried to hire to kill his wife, but who ended up testifying against Huddleston.
Huddleston served 21 years in the Marines. His wife, Kristy, was a U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs nurse.
