The parents of a murdered 9 week old North Port boy are back in Florida—both facing first degree murder charges.
And we are learning more about how little Chance Walsh was killed.
The newborn’s mother tells police her boyfriend and the child’s father, 36 year old Joseph Walsh, severely beat the baby during an argument.
Once Chance died, Walsh put his body in his crib until decomposition made the odor unbearable, and then Walsh put the body in a plastic bag and into a closet.
The mother, 32 year old Kristen Bury, then pointed police to a wooded area near the couple’s home where Chance’s remains were found.
Walsh and Bury then left Florida to start a new life, but a car crash in South Carolina ended their bid to flee and the two were eventually arrested and extradited back to Florida.
