The list ranks the country’s largest cities by required salary size. On top is San Francisco, where it takes an annual salary of more than $137,000 to buy a median-priced home. Number two is San Diego, where you need to earn more than $98,000, followed by New York, Los Angeles and Boston. At the bottom of the list: Cleveland, which requires a salary of nearly $30,000.
