On May 7, 2014 at 5:14 p.m., deputies responded to a shooting that just occurred at 1009 Lochmont Drive in Brandon.
The victim and the defendant entered a verbal argument. The argument escalated when the defendant, Marcia Rembert armed herself with a handgun. Rembert fired one round striking the victim, Dominique Foster in her hip.
Foster was transported to Tampa General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Rembert was arrested and transported to the Orient Road jail without incident. Rembert was charged with Aggravated Battery with Deadly Weapon.
