Rain chances will increasing in the Bay area especially the first half of the week. Those chances are at 30-40% today and increase to a solid 40% tomorrow and 50% on Wednesday. A tropical wave will move by to our south, but will bring enough moisture to make sure we stand a good chance for a dousing each afternoon. Finally the SE wind, rainy season pattern as setup getting us to the normal type of weather for this time of year.
It will be hot again today. After reaching 95 yesterday, we’ll be close again today with a high near 93. Highs drop back to near 91 much of the rest of the week as clouds and rain thicken.
Today: Partly cloudy skies with showers and thunderstorms along the coast this morning, then just inland this afternoon. Winds will be SE-W 5-10 mph with highs in the low to mid 90s.
Tonight: Partly cloudy and mild with a few showers along the coast 20%. Winds will be light with a low in the mid 70s.
This Week: Rain chances will reach 40-50% each afternoon with highs near 91 all week.
