The search for two missing jet skiers in Hernando County has ended, and the Coast Guard says they are alive.
FOX 13’s Alcides Segui has learned a Coast Guard helicopter spotted the missing men about 4 miles off Hernando Beach.
It’s unclear if the jet skis were with them, and their condition is unknown at this point. However, officials said they were alive and are being taken to the hospital.
The men, both 22 years old, left the Pine Island boat ramp near Weeki Wachee around 6 p.m. Sunday.
A girlfriend first reported them missing.
