Yesterday an Ocala man fatally stabbed his friend and his dog following an argument over the last can of beer.
According to reports, Daniel Trent was drinking with 56-year-old Mark Durham before the stabbing occured at Trent’s apartment overnight Sunday. Trent was arrested Monday by Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputies.
When it came down to who would claim the last beer, an argument began between the two friends.
Durham allegedly went into the kitchen, grabbed a small knife and cut Trent on the hand, but after a struggle stabbed Durham twice, once in the stomach and once in the chest.
