Deputies in Burnell have arrested a man they say shot a family’s puppy to death with a shotgun after it ran into his yard. Kevin McClenithan has been arrested and charged with animal cruelty after he shot his neighbors’ puppy. Bullet, a 10-month-old Lab, belonged to the Durrance family, who lived nearby. The family’s two oldest children found the dog dead of a shotgun wound at McClenithan’s house after the puppy got loose in the neighborhood.
