A 67 year old Bradenton man is in jail, accused of molesting an 8 year old girl Sunday night.
Authorities say Uberto Toribio first tried luring the child with ice cream. When that didn’t work, he grabbed her by force and took her behind a 60th Avenue house, where he began kissing her.
The girl’s mother called police when she saw Toribio and her daughter together a short time later.
Toribio is charged with false imprisonment and intent to touch a child in a lewd and lascivious manner.
He’s at the Manatee County Jail on $9,000 bond.
