Man Charged With Trying To Kill Pinellas Park 11 Month Old

The week-long search for a man wanted for trying to kill an 11 month old boy ends with an arrest.

31 year old Glen Neal has turned himself in to Pinellas Park Police in connection with the July 4th weekend incident.

Police say an 11 month old at his 97th Terrace house would not stop crying and tried to crawl into another room, so Neal punched, kicked, and choked the child.

He then tossed the baby onto a bed where he threw water on him to try and revive the now unconscious child.

He eventually told the mother what happened when his “rescue” efforts failed.

The baby remains in serious condition and on a ventilator.

Neal is in jail charged with attempted murder.

He has a long and violent criminal record.
