A Polk State College professor is in jail without bond, charged with the attempted murder of her disabled husband.
Authorities say 59 year old Cherry Olds put a pillow over the head of 57 year old James Olds twice, who is a paraplegic and has Multiple Sclerosis.
After the first attempt, police say James Olds exclaimed, “You almost killed me!” They say she responded “That’s the point (expletive)!”
The couple’s adult son heard the commotion and ran into the room to see what was happening.
Olds turned herself in at the Polk Sheriff’s Office.
