Local Fast Food Workers Demand $15 An Hour

Bay area fast food workers are joining their comrades around the country today for their latest protest against low wages.

They say they want a $15 an hour minimum wage and the right to unionize.

Workers with signs picketed outside the 62nd Avenue N Mc Donald’s this morning and will do the same in the park across from Tampa City Hall this afternoon.

Opponents to a higher minimum wage say it would mean fewer jobs and higher prices.
