Liberia’s Last Ebola Patient Released

On Thursday, Liberia released the last of its Ebola patients, Beatrice Yardolo, a 58-year old teacher, from a treatment center on Thursday, beginning its countdown to being declared Ebola-free.

Yardolo, a mother of five, had been admitted to a Chinese-run Ebola treatment center in the Paynesville district of Monrovia on Feb. 18. Tempering the happy mood is the fact that WHO officials have warned that populations are so mobile in the region that there could easily be fresh outbreaks in Liberia.

ABC’s Tom Rivers joined us from London Friday morning to discuss.
