Lawyer Asks Judge to Revoke Zimmerman’s Bail

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) _ The lawyer for Trevon Martin’s parents says he has asked the prosecutor to request that the judge revoke George Zimmerman’s bail for not disclosing how much money he had at the original bond hearing.

Attorney Benjamin Crump calls news that Zimmerman has raised about $200,000 on a website “a bombshell.” He says Martin’s parents, Tracy Martin and Sybrina Fulton, were “offended” that Zimmerman failed to inform the court of the money.

Zimmerman’s attorney, Mara O’Mara, told CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360 he only learned about the money Wednesday and will inform a judge at a hearing Friday.

He says Zimmerman’s bail might have been set higher if the judge had known about the money.

Zimmerman is charged with second-degree murder in Martin’s death.
