A 20 year old man is in jail for shining a laser light at a Hillsborough Sheriff’s Office helicopter.
The pilots were able to direct ground units to Rocky Circle in Tampa where Ismail Muhammad Abdullah and two others were in a car.
Abdullah admitted shining the light at the chopper as a “joke.”
He’s now charged with Misuse of Laser Lighting Device.
