A night of fun ends with two Sarasota facing felony charges.
25 year old Gary Bennington and 22 year old Matthew Bennington (seen below) took turns shining a laser light at a Sarasota County Sheriff’s helicopter patrolling near I-75 and Porter Road.
Because they kept hitting the chopper with the light, deputies were able to track them down at their Andasian Lane home.
Inside the house, police found marijuana.
The pair now face felony misuse of a laser device and drug charges.
