LAKE WALES, Fla. (AP) _ Authorities have identified two men who were injured in a central Florida plane crash.
Lake Wales police say 32-year-old flight instructor Anthony Arzave and 26-year-old student Sheng-yen Chen were taken to a hospital on Wednesday after their plane crashed into a swampy area near a Lake Wales Municipal Airport runway.
The Ledger of Lakeland reports Arzave is in serious condition and Chen’s injuries are considered critical.
The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board are working with police to determine the cause of the crash.
