Arraignment is today for the man accused of murdering the Dover elderly couple who hired him to be their handyman.
Michael Herald faces two first degree murder charges in Hillsborough County, but his arraignment is in Hazard Kentucky, where he fled in the couple’s car.
Herald was arrested while driving the vehicle in a park there.
His arrest came shortly after the bodies of John and Nancy Englehart were found in a shed on their McIntosh Road property.
They had been shot to death.
There is no word yet on a motive for the slayings, or if Herald will fight extradition back to Florida.
