Key Witnesses Up in Florida’s Missing Foster Child Case

MIAMI (AP) _ Two key witnesses for the prosecution are expected to testify as trial continues this week of a woman accused of killing 4-year-old foster child Rilya Wilson.

Prosecutors say the former live-in lover of 66-year-old Geralyn Graham is likely to take the stand.

The other key witness is a jailhouse snitch who claims Graham confessed to smothering the little girl with a pillow and disposing of her body near a lake or canal.

Rilya’s body has never been found.

Graham insists she is innocent and maintains that a state child welfare worker took Rilya away for mental tests in January 2001 and never returned her.

Investigators have testified they found no evidence to support Graham’s claim.

Graham faces life in prison if convicted. Trial is expected to last through mid-January.
