Tampa FL — The trial for a Tampa mother accused of killing her two teenage children begins today.
Schenecker shot her son twice in the head in the family car “for talking back” as she drove him to soccer practice, according to Tampa Police. A report says Schenecker then drove to their upscale home and shot her daughter in the face.
Earlier this month prosecutors announced Schenecker will not face the death penalty because of mental health issues.
