Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd is under fire for wearing his uniform while giving church sermons.
Judd routinely speaks at the Lakeland First Baptist Church clad in his badge and patch-adorned green uniform.
But the Freedom From Religion Foundation says that’s a violation of “separation of church and state” doctrine and is illegal.
So, they threaten to sue Judd if he doesn’t stop wearing his work clothing to give sermons at church.
Judd says he will keep doing it.
