John Kerry In London For Strategy Session On Combating ISIS

US Secretary of State John Kerry is at an anti-ISIS meeting in London with about twenty foreign ministers. The discussions are focusing are five areas: foreign fighters, the military campaign against Islamic State targets, its sources of finances, strategic communications and humanitarian assistance.

Earlier this week, the militant Islamic State group issued a video purporting to show a militant threatening to kill two Japanese hostages unless Japan pays a ransom. In the video, a masked man criticizes Japan for pledging aid to countries fighting ISIS. He says he will kill the two men unless a $200 Million ransom is paid. The deadline for the payment is looming.

ABC’s Tom Rivers joined Your Wake Up Call Thursday to discuss.
