JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Police say an officer is recovering after flipping her vehicle when she swerved to avoid hitting an animal in the road while on her way to a homicide call.
The Florida Times-Union reports Officer J.M. Hall suffered minor injuries in the Tuesday morning crash.
Police say the crash happened near the area of an undetermined death that was also reported Tuesday morning. Hall was on her way to that scene when the crash occurred.
