Trump To Stump In Florida This Weekend

MIAMI (AP) _ Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump is getting ready to mount a major fight in Florida against two of the state’s resident sons.

Jeb Bush led Florida as a two-term governor and Marco Rubio has been a senator since 2011.

But the billionaire businessman is outpacing both in early polls. His team is hoping to maintain that advantage with a heavy investment in the state.

Trump will arrive Friday for a two-day swing _ his first as a presidential candidate _ with rallies planned in Miami Friday evening and Jacksonville on Saturday.

Trump recently brought on a Florida state campaign director and plans to open a Sarasota office in early November.

The campaign is also expected to announce the hiring of multiple state co-chairs soon.
