Army Specialist Murdered In Kissimmee

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (AP) — Police in Florida say an Army specialist was fatally stabbed outside his wife’s home.

Spc. Victor Badilloalvarez, 26, was stationed in Fort Hood in Texas. He was visiting his wife in Kissimmee when he was stabbed Dec. 27.

Police tell the Orlando Sentinel that the couple was sleeping when they heard tapping on the window and saw the wife’s ex-boyfriend, 18-year-old Randal Jose Bracetty-Atancacio, outside.

According to police, after a confrontation, Asheley Grullon saw her husband doubled over and Bracetty-Atanacio backing away with a knife.

Badilloalvarez died at a hospital.

Bracetty-Atanacio was held without bond Tuesday on charges of second-degree murder and tampering with evidence. Osceola County jail records don’t show whether he has an attorney.

According to the Army, Badilloalvarez enlisted in 2012 and served in Afghanistan in 2014.
