This morning on Your Wake Up Call, hosts Chris Markowski and Jenna Laine discussed a tragic story out of White Springs, Florida, involving a 15-year-old girl shooting and killing her 16-year-old brother. It wasn’t accidental, and the details behind it, including years of abuse that all the children suffered, are horrific. Jenna discusses below:
Both the girl and her 11-year-old sibling have been charged in the murder. Those girls’ identifies are not being named because they themselves are believed to be victims of abuse. They are currently in juvenile custody and the State Attorney will have to decide whether they will be charged as adults or not. The parents have been charged with child neglect causing great bodily harm and are not permitted to make contact with the children.
