Conjoined twin boys have been successfully separated at a Jacksonville area hospital.
Little Carter and Conner Mirabal were born December 12th.
They underwent surgeries almost immediately to create a small intestine for each baby because they had been sharing one at birth.
Doctors had hoped to wait for the third surgery to separate them, but one baby was doing better than the other.
So, a 17 member surgical team finished the job early.
The twins are said to be doing well.
