Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu Addresses Congress

It’s is a speech that has been building in anticipation for the past couple of weeks, not so much because of what will be said, but more so because of the circumstances in which it is being delivered. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will address Congress, mainly focusing on his concerns with Iran, and a possible nuclear deal that the United States is involved in negotiating.

However, not lost on those observing is the absence of a trip to the White House by Netanyahu, accentuating the perceived frost between the two leaders. And, back in Israel, questions persist about whether Netanyahu is making this play to influence his upcoming bid for re-election.

ABC’s Mary Bruce joined Your Wake Up Call from the White House Tuesday morning to discuss.

Your Wake Up Call airs every weekday from 6-9 a.m. on AM 820 News in Tampa and 1190 News in Orlando.
