President Obama has been rather busy in the White House, tending to two foreign crises — the fighting between Israelis and Palestinians in Gaza and the downing of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 — as well as his own crisis on the U.S.-Mexico border.

Obama called  for international investigators to have “immediate and full access” to the the crash site that has been guarded by Russian separatists.

He also pledged his support for Israel, saying it has every right to defend itself from attacks by Hamas, and sending $47 million in aid to Gaza.

He also noted that the numbers of undocumented immigrants crossing into the U.S. have dropped.
