On Sunday, HHS Secy Kathy Sebelius emphasized that she had told President Obama that her sticking around “wasn’t an option,” amid some reports that she was forced out. Meanwhile, the White House has needed to deny that it had any knowledge of the “Heartbleed” bug, revealing a recent ruling by the president that when the NSA discovers a major Internet security flaw, in most cases it should reveal it so they can be fixed. Some have charged the NSA kept knowledge of Heartbleed quiet so they could exploit as well. And finally, late on Friday (when else?) the White House released the tax returns of its current residents.
