Interview: No Executive Action For Immigration Reform

The situation in Ukraine continues to get much attention, and as developments play out Wednesday morning over there, Ann will have the latest on the White House’s take on things. As far as the announced “anti-terrorist operation” in progress, Press Secy Jay Carney said the Ukrainian government has to respond to what he says is an untenable situation. Meanwhile, President Obama, who has used executive action for some things, indicated Tuesday that immigration reform will not be one of them. The White House indicated they feel Congress should take the lead on the issue, which translated could mean they like how the issue currently plays for midterm elections in the fall.
