As the grim task of recovering the dead from the sunken ship continues, more and more have questions surfaced regarding the actions of the ferry Captain and crew. On Monday, South Korean President Park Geun-hye condemned the conduct of some of the crew, calling it “akin to murder”. The captain is already facing a series of criminal charges for his role in the sinking, in which at least 87 people have died and more than 200 others remain missing. Six other crew members have been detained or arrested.
