Dozens of community members gathered to honor victims of the latest mass shooting at Fort Hood on Sunday. A church just outside the Texas military base held the service honoring the three soldiers killed in last week’s attack, the second fatal shooting rampage on the base in five years. Meanwhile, more chilling details of the shooting and assailant Ivan Lopez continue to emerge. Lopez’s family released a statement Sunday expressing their shock and disbelief he could have committed this “horrific” act. A memorial service at Ft. Hood is scheduled for Wednesday.
