ABC News correspondent Aaron Katersky remains in Boston to wrap up the 118th running of that city’s marathon. Under heavy security that included a battery of surveillance cameras and police officers on rooftops, nearly 36,000 runners hit the streets Monday sending a powerful message of resilience. In what some saw as altogether fitting, an American won the men’s division for the first time in more than 30 years. On the women’s side, Kenya’s Rita Jeptoo notched her second consecutive win of the race, smashing a 12-year course record. Aaron has more color and stories of triumph from Monday’s race.
