AM 820 News anchor Roger P. Schulman spoke to Shyann Malone of WTSP 10 News about the animal cruelty case at Napier Animal Sanctuary Horse Rehabilitation. Along with 17 horses, almost 300 other animals were on the Naiper property. Dogs, cats, pigs, and more were all found living in poor conditions. Roaches covered surfaces. Today, after yaers of complaints and months of investigation, the owners of that sanctuary, Alan and Sheree Naiper were arrested. Each were charged with 15 counts of animal cruelty and Alan Napier with one count of fraud.
