AM 820 News anchor, Roger P. Schulman, talked to 10 News reporter, Danica Lawrence, about the risk of rip currents in the area. There is a higher risk of currents tonight and the storms rolling in won’t help. Lawrence says we’re under an elevated rip current risk until Tuesday and beach goers should be looking out for those red flags indicating rip currents. If you do get caught in a rip current, remember to stay calm and swim out of the current in a direction following the shoreline.
