Late Monday evening the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office says they got a call in reference to bones that were found in the aforementioned location and responded to the scene. They determined the remains were that of a human and are investigating.
The area is being treated as a crime scene and investigators are expected to be working in this vicinity for several days.
