Pasco Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating a shooting in the Moon Lake community of New Port Richey.
According to deputies, 35-year-old Chris Wehunt broke into the house at 12018 Ember Avenue home at 1:19 Thursday morning. While inside the home, the homeowner, 55-year-old Michael Farrell found Wehunt and shot him multiple times.
Wehunt has been taken to a local hospital. There is no information on his condition.
Farrell has been questioned and no arrest is expected at this time.
