House flipping is back with a vengeance in Tampa Bay.
New RealtyTrac numbers show five bay area counties in the top ten most active house flipping areas in the nation.
And house flippers in Manatee, Citrus, Sarasota, Hernando, and Pasco Counties averaged a $28 thousand profit per home.
RealtyTrac says nearly 8 percent of all single family home and condo sales in Florida are flipped properties.
Only Nevada had more.
