Late Monday night, Pasco County deputies arrested a Holiday man wanted for striking his pregnant girlfriend with his car.
33-year-old Justin Lee Colby is facing an Attempted Homicide charge for allegedly striking 32-year-old Crystal Lynn Noordhuizen with his 2006 Dodge Charger.
According to the arrest affidavit, Noordhuizen, who is 7-months pregnant, reported she got into a verbal fight with Colby on Monday. She left her home to avoid a confrontation and began to walk east on the south shoulder of Westwood Drive to wait for a ride.
Colby then apparently called her and allegedly stated “Are you ready for your abortion date?” Deputies say moments later Colby drove his car east on Westwood Drive and up onto the grass shoulder, hitting Noordhuizen.
The Florida Highway Patrol says Noordhuizen suffered minor injuries and was treated at Bayonet Point Hospital. Video of the incident can be seen below.
