A man was arrested Sunday night after being accused of starting a fatal crash around 8:20 p.m. that led to a 4-car accident. A woman in one of the vehicle’s that was hit died.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the unidentified man was driving a white Hummer along East Hillsborough Avenue and North 56th Street in Tampa when it happened. He’s accused of leaving the scene.
Sergeant Gaskins with FHP says investigators tracked the driver of the Hummer down and found him at the Hard Rock Casino where he was arrested.
There is no word on his identity or the identities of those involved in the accident. There’s also no word on the conditions of those involved.
