Hillary Clinton Finally Addresses Email Controversy

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who rarely speaks to the national press, held an exception at the United Nations on Tuesday afternoon, to address questions regarding her use of private email while a member of President Obama’s cabinet. Essentially she stated that it was out of convenience to only have to carry one device.

She said that along with staff, she weeded out all the business-related emails, and provided them to the State Department upon request.

She did not seem concerned that she alone determined which emails that would be provided, and said that’s pretty much the rulebook everybody goes by. In any case, we now await as to whether she significantly doused the firestorm, or if things could rekindle as her words are parsed.

ABC’s Mary Bruce joined us from Washington DC Wednesday to discuss.
